​The Atkins-Johnson Farm and Museum is all a buzz for the newest exhibit; Little Bee, Big Deal: Honey Bees and Their Amazing World welcomes visitors into the remarkable world of honey bees. This hands-on exhibit is designed specifically for children and explores the tiny world of honey bees and takes a closer look inside the hive. Although there are no live bees in this exhibit, visitors saw real larva bees, worker bees, and of course the queen bee herself!  Honey bees and other pollinators are extremely important to our environment and food supply, but today they face increasing threats. In addition to learning about honey bees, visitors of all ages will take away what they can personally do to help our little buzzing friends.
