Latest gift from the Friends of the Atkins-Johnson Farm
Posted March 23, 2016
The dining room inside the Atkins-Johnson Farm is furnished to represent a 1890's room. The original wallpaper in this room was a 1960's era floral pattern in poor condition. The Friends of the Atkins-Johnson Farm generously offered to purchase period appropriate wallpaper and sponsor the professional installation. Completed in 2013, the new wallpaper is a 1890 reprint by Charles Rupert Designs who specialize in well researched historic wallpaper designs. Proceeds from the Friends annual garage sale fundraiser go towards this wallpaper purchase.
