Volunteering at the Farm...

Volunteers are the backbone of AJF&M and we appreciate every hour donated by our volunteers. Volunteering provides personal growth, community connections, and increased knowledge of the history of our area. We also welcome Eagle Scout projects and Gold and Silver Award projects.

Our volunteers also learn new skills and make new friends with similar interests. Opportunities are available in the areas of research, special events, museum tours, education programs, collections assistant, garden volunteers and gift shop/receptionist.

Museum volunteers always enjoy free admission to the museum during regular hours. Volunteers are strongly encouraged to become members of the Friends of the Atkins-Johnson Farm where they enjoy member benefits such as the Friends quarterly newsletter, members-only events and 10% off museum store merchandise and select program tickets.
