4-H Mini Day Camp: Biodiversity in Your Backyard

About the Event
Engage and entice native birds and insects to increase biodiversity on the farm and in your backyard by understanding the food, water and habitat needs of various native species by mixing a your own specialty blend of bird seed, building feeders and waterers and creating a habitat for mason bees. $27 per student (Age 5-10). To register call the Gladstone Community Center at 816-423-4200 Each student should bring a water bottle and sack lunch. Each class is held outdoors. Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes and dress in layers.
